Plenary Speakers and Workshop Leaders

Dr. Gregory James Edwards is Founder and Senior Pastor of Resurrected Life Community Church and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Resurrected Community Development Corporation. His holistic approach to ministry birthed the Resurrected Community Development Corporation wherein the Resurrected Life Children's Academy, the James Lawson Freedom School and the Campaign for Change community organizing initiative were established. Pastor Edwards' work with the Children's Defense Fund, recently procured funding for freedom schools established through the Lehigh Valley. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Ministry Leadership, Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry in the area of Mass Incarceration, Public Policy and Transformative Justice.

Christi Dominguez of The Valley Against Sex Trafficking (VAST). Christiana Dominguez has her Bachelors in Social Work and in Communication Studies from Kutztown University. She graduates with her Masters of Social Work from University of Pennsylvania in May 2016. Her advocacy against sex trafficking began in undergraduate school through campus-wide education and awareness coupled with academic course work on the subject. Recently, her advocacy has moved to clinical practice with survivors as the Clinical Intern for the Truth Home, a therapeutic home for sexually exploited women, and the Aftercare Coordinator for The Valley Against Sex Trafficking (VAST). Christi has varied experience in group facilitation & education with youth and women.

LeShan St. Clair-Spencer is Community Outreach Director of Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley. She holds a Master of Science in Human Service degree and has extensive experience working with women in the correctional system as well as at-risk youth. LeShan supervises the prevention educators and medical/systems advocate.

Fritz Walker, who has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Yale University, spent 32 years as a research chemist working for major chemical companies, including Rohm and Haas, Akzo Coatings, and Air Products and Chemicals, from which he retired in 2014.
The shooting of 20 six- and seven-year-old children and six of their teachers on Dec. 14, 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut had a profound effect on Fritz. He started attending various events hosted by organizations devoted to gun violence prevention, and also began a course of self-study to educate himself on the causes of gun violence in America, and what could be done to reduce the tragic toll gun homicides, suicides, and accidents extract year after year from our society. Fritz serves on the Board of Directors of Cease Fire PA, is the Lehigh Valley team lead for Everytown for Gun Safety, and the state Gun Violence Prevention Lead for Organizing for Action. He is a frequent contributor of op-ed pieces dealing with gun violence prevention for local publications such as the Lehigh Valley's Morning Call.
